It had been over a month with no answers and the pain just kept getting worse. I had friends and my pastor call. No one could break through.
Then I got in touch with Rep. Badger. She made phone calls, and within a week I had a return call from Boston. Less than a month after that, I had my surgery. Today, I get to be out here serving, handing out backpacks and raising school supplies for kids, all because someone took that extra step and was boots on the ground for me.
