Throughout my first term as State Representative, and prior to that as a leader on the School Committee, I’ve worked with local and state leaders to address concerns and find real solutions for our community.

I remain committed to listening, working hard, and representing you on Beacon Hill.

2025 - Present

State Representative
  • Over $1 Million secured for the town, nonprofits, and business in Plymouth.
     

  • 2025 Legislator of the Year for the Massachusetts Mental Health Counselors Association

  • 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Massachusetts Association of School Committees​

  • Convening Emergency Food Provider Round Tables

  • 33 Bills filed, including school transportation, climate, Veteran needs, nuclear issues, and more

  • 1 of 4 freshman legislators out of 21 who have made their inaugural speech in the first year

  • Focused on keeping residents informed through Friday updates, monthly podcasts, and robust social media to share news and progress

2011 - 2024

School Committee Member, Vice-Chair & Chair
  • Oversaw the operations of Plymouth's school system including over $127 Million budget

  • Contributed to the development of Plymouth’s two acclaimed high schools

  • Led a district-wide solar plan saving over $6 Million

  • Expanded full-day kindergarten

  • Strengthened curriculum (health, AP, and English language learners)

  • Supported student safety (allergy policy, emergency planning, safe gun storage awareness)

  • Advanced equity work, including launching the Diversity Committee 

  • Advocated for a whole-child approach to education, including the arts, athletics, and extracurriculars

  • Helped organize the first Community Health Fair (2022)
